Reina-Fox is led by Marianne Alicona, who brings over 30 years of experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Fourteen years ago, Marianne successfully transitioned as a for-profit executive to lead social impact teams in providing oversight of strategic relationships, resource development, and communications for local, national, and international nonprofits. She has co-led organizations going through change management and has been involved with executive and C-suite searches. Marianne has a strong background in development, programs, finance, and operations which has helped her be viewed as a valued collaborator on leadership teams, and an asset to boards of directors and junior staff. 

She approaches her work with integrity, excellence, and results. As a nonprofit leader, Marianne has developed authentic, trusting connections with donors, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Quality work products have been Marianne’s hallmark throughout her professional career. She can not only create strategy but also has the aptitude to execute on the strategy. Marianne is known for being an entrepreneurial-minded leader with experience in delivering outcomes that exceed internal and external stakeholder expectations.

Marianne’s DEI+ beliefs have been shaped by her multi-cultural upbringing. The “+” is particularly important to her as a second-generation American and first-generation college student – she doesn’t believe you can have Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion if you don’t include Access and Belonging.

Marianne has an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University and an MBA from The George Washington University. When not working towards impact in her day job, Marianne can be found enjoying time with her blended family and volunteering in the community.
